Banana and Biscoff Baked Oats (Vegan Friendly Recipe)

Vegan Friendly and Super Easy

This vegan friendly Banana and Biscoff Baked Oats recipe is super easy to follow. The only specialist kitchen item you’ll need is a blender. Though I suppose you could try without, the consistency may just be a little chunky.

I’m always on the lookout for new breakfast ideas as it’s one of my favourite meals of the day. Being a total sweet tooth, if I can incorporate some form of a dessert theme into that first meal of the day then it’s a total winner for me.

The recipe itself only uses 5 ingredients, most of which you’ll probably already have in the cupboard.

Ingredients include porridge oats, oat milk, a banana, biscoff spread and baking powder. All ingredients were sourced in store at Asda or online at Amazon.

Baking time may vary slightly for the Banana and Biscoff Baked Oats depending on your oven. Mine looked good at 25 minutes but I added an extra 2 for good luck!

Variations and Tips

  • If you don’t have (or don’t like) oat milk, you can use ordinary dairy milk. Please remember that this then won’t be vegan friendly.
  • You can also use the crunchy biscoff spread instead of smooth.
  • When it comes to the banana, it doesn’t need to be super ripe, I actually don’t like the taste when the banana is like this. I would avoid the green ones though!
  • Don’t forget to make sure you grease the pie dish, it will stick if you don’t.
  • If you’re making this for everyone in the family, simply times the quantities by the number of people and use a larger dish. You may need to extend your cooking time by 10 minutes.
